The Ink Crown first launched in 2021 as a one-man show led by the talented Renato Rodrigues. Located in the lively heart of downtown Montreal, Renato began his career as a watercolour tattoo artist with the guidance of mentors like Victor Octaviano and Tony Soarlis. It didn’t take long for him to build a strong and loyal clientele in the city.

After two years, Renato made the decision to expand the studio and provide opportunities for other artists to join him. This dream became a reality in August 2023 when the Ink Crown officially opened its doors to three more chairs, soon followed by several additional resident artists.

Today, just like the vibrant spirit of Montreal, the studio embraces artists from around the world, allowing them to share their incredible talent through unique and meaningful tattoos.
